Dr. Amy Assemany


Dr. Assemany is a licensed psychologist who provides cognitive-behavioral treatment, comprehensive evaluations, and school consultation to children, adolescents and their families. She treats children with a wide range of presenting problems, including anxiety, high-functioning autism, learning challenges, disruptive behaviors, poor executive skills, and general emotional dysregulation. Dr. Assemany obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Michigan. She received her doctoral degree in school psychology from The University at Albany, State University of New York, and completed an internship in child clinical psychology at Hawthorn Center and Wayne State's University Psychiatric Center of Livonia. Dr. Assemany has worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's Outpatient Behavioral Health Center and at Beaumont Hospital's Center for Human Development prior to establishing Cognitive Behavioral Solutions in 2005.
